Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain highly accurate straight line property and interval, by inserting a plurality of LED elements at an equal interval in a recessed groove, which is provided in a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A recessed groove 4 is provided in a substrate 1. Bonding pads 6 are attached to both sides of the recessed groove 4. A plurality of LED elements 2 are sequentially inserted and aligned in the recessed groove 4 so that the intervals 5 become equal by using a jig. Each element 2 is connected to the pads 6 corresponding to the position of the element 2. When this aligning method is used, high aligning accuracy is obtained. Therefore, the printing quality of a printing head is improved, and the aligning man-hours of the LED elements can be reduced.
