Title:
LED LAMP USING LIGHT GUIDE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005203135
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve a problem wherein an LED lamp using a conventional light guide body is so structured as to use one LED as a light source to radially disperse light emitted from an LED and to emit it to the outside, being dark because luminance is low, and its emission color is a single one.

By this application, light emitted from a light source of a plurality of LEDs 3 enters into the light guide body 4, and is internally reflected (totally reflected) on a primary reflecting surface 6 formed on the light guide body 4 to be formed into nearly parallel light, thereafter internally reflected (totally reflected) on secondary reflecting surfaces 8 and tertiary reflecting surfaces 12 by keeping it nearly parallel to emit it from the light guide body 4, and reflected on reflecting mirrors 5 to guide it generally in the radiation direction of a lamp 20. A bright lamp is realized by increasing luminous energy like that. In addition, light rays having different color tones can be emitted at the same time or by forming time differences by arranging LEDs emitting the light rays having different color tones.
