To provide an LED-light radiation apparatus capable of cooling its LED light source without making its radiation head large.
The LED-light radiation apparatus includes a radiation head 12 comprising an LED light source 22, a controlling device 14 wherein a controlling member 32 for supplying electricity to and/or controlling the LED light source 22 is disposed, a cooling means for cooling the LED light source 22, and a connection pipe 16 disposed between the controlling device 14 and the radiation head 12, with the controlling member 32 and the LED light source 22 connected via electric cables 36, 38 that pass through the inside of the connection pipe 16. The cooling means is equipped with a heat sink 40 to which heat is transferred from the LED light source 22, which heat sink 40 is disposed adjacent to the LED light source 22 in the radiation head 12, and equipped with a fan 42 that forcibly generates a wind to which the heat sink 40 is exposed, with the heat sink 40 and the fan 42 disposed apart via the connection pipe 16 through which the wind flows.
