Abstract:
To provide an LED lighting device free from giving damages to a person, and exhibiting sterilization and virus-inactivating action.SOLUTION: An LED lighting device having sterilization and virus-inactivating action is composed of: a first LED1 emitting visible light ray band light for lighting, arranged on a wiring board or a print-circuit board; a second LED2 arranged on a board, exciting a photocatalyst substance, and emitting visible light ray light in a wavelength band, having germicidal and sterilization action by the action of a photocatalyst; a lighting drive part 11 including a power source part for lighting the first LED1 and the second LED2; and a transparent or translucent cover body 3 attached to a fixing support body for supporting and fixing a circuit board 20 loading the first LED1, the second LED2, and the lighting drive part 11, and transmitting light emitted by an LED group.
