To provide an LED lighting device that can suppress glaring and is high in versatility and usable even as a lighting device for an industrial field.
One or more LED light sources 5 are arranged held inside a reflector 4 with an opening 6 while leaving a space with the reflector 4, and heat from the LED light sources 5 is conducted by heat radiation means 15 to a heat radiation part 11 outside the reflector and then radiated. Some quantity of the light from the LED light sources 5 irradiates a reflecting surface 7 formed on an inner wall surface of the reflector 4 to be reflected by the reflecting surface 7 and emitted from the opening 6 of the reflector 4, the reflecting surface 7 being formed into a plane such that the quantity of light of a diffuse reflected component reflected by the reflecting surface 7 is equal to or larger than the quantity of light of a mirror-surface reflected component. A light diffusion member 8 which diffuses and transmits light is provided on a light path of at least part of light traveling toward the opening 6 of the reflector 4.
