Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the light collecting efficiency of LED beams and reduce its size.
CONSTITUTION: This source is provided with a glass base 1, a plurality of LED chips arranged in line on the base 1 and a circuit pattern 3 formed on the base 1 to supply current to the chips 2. A reflection plate 4 having a semi- eliptical curved or concaved face in section in the lateral direction and being in a linear form in the longitudinal direction is formed on the upper part of the chip 2 so that it may cover the plural chips 2.
