A case 3 is fitted to the upper section of a pin flag pole 2 for this LED (light emission diode) marking device 1. An LED luminescent unit 5, a solar battery 6, and a battery 7 are stored in the case 3. When the LED luminescent unit 5 is excited by the battery 7, the LED light is blinked at the prescribed time interval and irradiated to the outside through the wall face of the case 3. An inclination sensor 8 turning the power supply of the LED luminescent unit 5 on or off by detecting the inclination of the pole 2 may be provided on the LED marker device 1. A contact sensor turning the power supply of the LED luminescent unit 5 on or off by detecting the contact state between the pole 2 and a cup may be provided on the LED marking device 1.
