Abstract:
PURPOSE:To project light, which is emitted from a LED, in the forward direction efficiently, by using a LED mounting board having a cavity for mounting the LED, providing the inclined side surface in the cavity, and plating metal on the bottom part and the side part of the cavity. CONSTITUTION:A LED mounting board 10 has a cavity 2 for mounting a LED 1. A bottom part 4 and a side part 4 of the cavity 2 are provided with metal plating 5. Of the light, which is emitted from the LED 1, the light, which is projected toward the direction other than the forward direction, is reflected with the inclined surface, which is the side part 4 of the cavity 2. Since the inclined part is provided, the light, which is emitted from the LED, can be reflected to the forward direction efficiently.
