To provide an LED power-supply device that allows preventing an excessive current to an LED.
An LED power-supply device 10 comprises: a rectifier DB; an output power-supply adjusting circuit 13 supplying power to an LED 12; a drive circuit 14; a stop control circuit 16 that determines the presence or absence of the LED 12 by detecting the current flowing through the LED 12 and operates so as to stop the drive circuit 14 on detecting the absence of the LED 12; and a mask circuit 17 monitoring a voltage after rectification and controlling the stop control circuit 16. If the voltage after rectification is less than or equal to a predetermined value of the mask circuit 17, the mask circuit 17 does not inhibit the operation of the stop control circuit 16.
