Abstract:
PURPOSE: To correct an optical output of an LED array by accurately monitoring an LED light for monitoring.
CONSTITUTION: A photodiode array 703 having a no window electrode pattern 705 has elements corresponding to elements of a vertical light emitting type LED array 702 having window electrode patterns 704. LED lights emitted from side faces (end faces of the respective elements are detected as the LED lights for monitoring. The patterns 704, 705 respectively have bonding pads 706, 707. The pad 706 is provided on a board 701 of the side having an LED driver, and the pad 707 is provided on the board 701 of the side opposite to the side having the driver.
