Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of a lees discharge device for a beverage extraction device, lessen disposal expenses for the lees, and lower an amount of steam diffused in a room.
CONSTITUTION: This lees discharge device of a beverage extraction device has a plurality of extraction tanks 3 arranged along the same circumference and fixed to a rack 1, and the extracted lees are discharged by opening the bottom covers 4 of the tanks 3. The tanks 3 can rotate about the center axis 16 of the group thereof and stop at the preset position. Also, a travel screw conveyor 12 is laid for transferring the less from an inlet position 18a under the tanks 3 to an outlet 18b at the position of the center axis. This conveyor 12 has a screw 20 within an outer cylinder 19. The screw 20 is rotated on the operation of a motor 21. Furthermore, a fixed screw conveyor or fixed belt type conveyor 11 is laid, so as to extend from a position under the outlet 18b to the outside of the device. Also, the lees discharged from the tanks 3 are further discharged outside from the conveyor 12 via the fixed screw or belt type conveyor 11.
