Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a leg device for a magnetic levitation vehicle capable of freely elevating support wheels for low speed for a magnetic levitation vehicle having a good riding comforableness, with which an actuator can be actuated in a short stroke in pulling and storing whees, with which the wheels can be elevated in a small storage space, and with which vehicle height can be adjusted.
CONSTITUTION: A swing arm 4 having a pivotal support part 2 for pivotally supporting a wheel 1 at a forward end which is pivotally supported to a carriage side support wall 3, an elevation actuator 5 disposed between the pivotal support part 2 and a carriage over it on the backside and having a coil spring 11, and a damper 16 freely capable of elongation and contraction disposed between the pivotal support part 2 and the carriage over it on the front side are provided to support and suspend a shaft of the wheel 1. A bulk head 8 as a head part of the elevation actuator 5 is pressed through a bell crank 12 by a vehicle height adjustment hydraulic cylinder 15, so its support height position can be changed as desired only by changing a pressing direction, thereby height adjustment can be performed very easily.
