PURPOSE: To allow a patient to easily get on and off a bed.

CONSTITUTION: A base 2 is arranged above a base frame, and a bed 3 is arranged above the base 2. One end part of the bed 3 has an ankle training plate 11 on the surface side and a driving mechanism for rotating the ankle training plate 11 on the reverse side. The bed 3 is mounted on the base 2 in such a manner as to be rotatable around a substantially horizontal axial line L1, and thus can be set in a first posture state which is substantially horizontal and a second posture state which is inclined to lower the driving mechanism. A raising and lowering mechanism covered with a cover member 51 is arranged between the base frame 1 and the base 2. When a patient gets on and off the bed 3, the bed 3 is laid in the first posture state, and the base 2 is set in the low position. When the second posture state is taken, the base 2 is set in the high position to prevent the interference between the driving mechanism and a setting floor surface Y.
