To provide a leg stopper for an article supporting leg in which a bolt is erected on a stage, a male thread portion of the bolt is engaged with a bolt screwing portion of an article to be supported, so that the stage is arranged on an article supporting base, thus the article is supported on the base (floor or the like), and a bolt revolver engagement part is provided to a bolt portion that adjoins the stage.

A leg stopper 2 includes a forked part 21 that can be externally fitted to an engagement part 13 in a detachable manner, a fixing part 22 that is fixed to a base, and an intermediate part 23. A bending band-like leaf spring 24 is arranged at the forked part 21 which extends along the inner surface of a forked part body 210 and connected to the body 210. The spring 24 is elastically deformed when the forked part 21 is externally fitted to a revolver engagement part 13, to sandwitch the revolver engagement part 13. Thus, the forked part 21 is engaged with the revolver engagement part 13 of the article supporting leg, under such condition as looseness is suppressed. The article supporting leg is stabilized at the specified position of a base, and accidental rotation of the engagement part 13 is surely prevented. Thus an article can be stably supported by the article supporting leg.
