PURPOSE: To reduce the range of leg bases obstructing the legs of seated persons by orienting the extending direction of the leg bases radially outward in a folding table having a top plate fixed with the base ends of the leg bases fitted with casters at the lower ends of studs and folded into two at the center position.

CONSTITUTION: This folding table 10 is provided with a top plate 11 constituted of semicircular top plates 11a, 11b, and a pair of foldable top plate support frames 12a are fixed on the back faces of the semicircular top plates 11a, 11b. Four studs 13 are extended downward from the vicinity of both ends of the frames 12a, leg bases 14 are fixed to the lower ends of the studs 13, and casters 15 are fitted below the tips of the leg bases 14. The top end sections of the studs 13 are coupled with U-grooves near both ends of the frames 12a so that the upper end sections are inserted into both end sections of the frames 12a at the time of folding. The leg bases 14 are extended nearly horizontally from the lower ends of the studs 13 and are oriented radially from the center section of the table 10.
