Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable wide usage as, for example, the diffuser of a stroboscope device, etc., by using one lens and varying its focal length with its position.
CONSTITUTION: The lens 1A is formed by arranging (n) (n: integer larger than 2) unit lenses L1, L2... Ln-1, Lb in a Z direction and uniting the respective unit lenses. The respective lenses L1-Ln are cylindrical lenses which project on one surface side of the lens 1A and have power in the Z direction, and R1< R2<...Rn-1<Rn hold for the radii R1, R2...Rn-1, Rn of the respective unit lenses L1, L2... Ln-1. Consequently, the unit lenses L1, L2... Ln-1, and Ln increase in Z-directional focal length in this order.
