To shorten a length of a terminal metal fitting, and improve a housing condition by arranging an adjuster, where an ordinary screw is formed in an inner peripheral part and an inverse screw is formed in an outer peripheral part, between a crevice and a sleeve fixed to an end part of a tensile member.
An adjuster 3 is formed in a proper diameter short cylinder shape fittable to a male screw 7 of a sleeve 2 having screw, and a female screw is carved on an inner peripheral surface between a 1/2 length of the total length from a tip part. In order to tense a wire rope 5 laid in a structural body by using this adjuster 3, the sleeve 2 having a screw is coaxially and integrally fixed to a terminal part of the wire rope 5 by press fitting work, and next, the adjuster 3 is screw-fitted to the sleeve 2 having a screw. Then, this adjuster 3 is screwed in a crevice 4, and the crevice 4 is fixed to the inside of a building frame such as a cable truss by pin joining. After this fixation, a length is properly adjusted by rotating the adjuster 3 by a jig or the like.
