Title:
LENGTH-VARIABLE BAND TYPE DIAL KEY WITH COIL WIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007162207
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a device which enables an umbrella to be locked from the outside in a closed state, which can also be connected to a fixed object, and in which the user-desired number of a dial key can be easily set.

The dial key is connected to the fixed object by using a coil wire with both ring-shaped ends, which can be attached to/detached from the dial key, and the umbrella is locked by moderately fastening the band of the band type dial key near upper ends of the ribs of the umbrella in such a manner that the umbrella cannot be freely opened by a third person, and turning a dial, so that the robbery of the umbrella can be prevented. A shaft, which enables the turning of the ring of the dial key, is formed in such a slightly backward-widened shape that a part ranging from the vertex of a cone to an intermediate part thereof is cut off. The shaft is structurally fixed when hit with a wooden hammer or a hammer after being inserted into a key body. A protrusive guide is preattached to a back end of the shaft to be inserted, and a recessed cut is made in a main body so as to prevent the displacement of the guide. Thus, when the users of the key each set the number of the dial key, the key can be set at an accurate angle without the turning of the shaft.
