The leno cloth is woven with warps 1 and wefts 2, has an interlace part 3 crossing the warps between adjacent wefts and contains a plurality of wefts inserted between the adjacent interlace parts. Woven regions 4 containing the multiple wefts woven into a prescribed number of warps and a bundled regions 5 containing the multiple wefts collectively clamped with a prescribed number of warps are alternately arranged in the longitudinal direction of the multiple wefts or interlace parts 3 having a prescribed length are arranged in staggered form.
