PURPOSE: To reduce the thickness and weight of the lens actuator by eliminating the variations, etc., in the frequency characteristics and sensitivity of the lens actuator by rolling and pitching of a leaf spring and hinge part form a plate shape.

CONSTITUTION: A hinge supporting part 5a of a biaxial hinge 5 is fixed to an actuator base 10 by lock pins 4. Resin hinges 5b formed as parallel hinges on single notched hinge part supporting part sides 51 and single notched hinge part objective lens sides 52 extend in the direction where an objective lens 2 is installed from this hinge supporting part. This objective lens is made movable vertically in a focus direction by these resin hinges. The single notched hinge part supporting part sides and the single notched hinge part objective lens sides are provided respectively with both notched hinge part supporting part sides 53 and the both notched hinge part objective lens side 54. A lens holder 3 on which the objective lens 2 is placed moves the objective lens laterally in a track direction on the both notched hinge part supporting part sides and the both notched hinge part objective lens lens as the parallel hinges.
