PURPOSE: To shorten a projection distance to a projection screen by providing a divergent concave and convex lens, a convergent concave and convex lens, a convergent double convex lens and a divergent double concave lens in the order from a projection stage to the projection screen and providing a reflection mirror between the convergent concave and convex lens and the convergent double convex lens.
CONSTITUTION: This projection lens assembly 8 is provided with the divergent, that is negative, concave and convex lens 1, the negative concave and convex lens 1 is separated from the convergent, that is positive, concave and convex lens 2 with a clearance and the positive concave and convex lens 2 is separated from the convergent, that is positive, double convex lens 3 with a clearance. Then, the positive double convex lens 3 is separated from the divergent, that is negative, double concave lens 4 with a clearance. The concave side of the divergent concave and convex lens 1 faces a stage, the convex side of the convergent concave and convex lens 2 faces the stage and the concave side of a longer radius of the divergent double concave lens 4 faces the projection screen. A plane reflection mirror 5 is arranged between the convergent concave and convex lens 2 and the convergent double convex lens 3. Thus, an overhead projector is arranged close to the projection screen.
