Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a lens barrel drive controller for camera capable of moving a lens barrel to an accurate position.
CONSTITUTION: The state signal generated by a state signal generating means 30 is a signal by which a state is changed based on the positional relation of the lens barrel 10 to one reference position, and moving means 20 and 40 control the movement of the lens barrel 10 only by the state signal. Therefore, the position of the lens barrel 10 is detected only at the reference position, and in each movement processing of the moving means 20 and 40, the position is detected by moving the lens barrel 10 up to the reference position temporarily, and then, the movement to a standby position, a focusing position, etc., is controlled with the reference position as a reference. Since the movement is controlled based on the detection of the position of the lens barrel 10 at one reference position, the risk of causing an erroneous detection is reduced and durability is remarkably improved.
