In the lens barrel having two guide shafts 11 and 12, and a focus lens 7 which is supported by the guide shafts 11 and 12 and is driven by a linear motor 18 to be moved in an optical axis direction, the bearing structure 17 of a lens holding frame 10 for holding the focus lens 7 and at least one of the guide shafts is constituted of a 1st contact surface in contact with the guide shafts 11 and 12 or a bearing hole 10c at a prescribed clearance in order to secure the moving accuracy of the focus lens 7 and a 2nd contact surface in contact with the guide shafts 11 and 12 or the bearing hole 10c at a clearance larger than that of the 1st contact surface.
