Abstract:
To allow a plurality of optical elements to be individually inserted to/extracted from an optical axis by one drive unit while avoiding the use of a large device.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 100 comprises a filter changeover mechanism 9 which inserts/extracts a first filter unit 91 and a second filter unit 92 to/from an optical path. The filter changeover mechanism 9 includes a first rack part 913 of a first filter holding member 912 for holding a first filter 911, a second rack part 923 of a second filter holding member 922 for holding a second filter 921, and a first drive gear 93 and a second drive gear 94 which can engage with the first rack part 913 and the second rack part 923 respectively. The first drive gear 93 and the second drive gear 94 have teeth partly in a circumferential direction and do not have teeth in other portions. The timing at which the first drive gear 93 engages with the first rack part 913 is different from the timing at which the second drive gear 94 engages with the second rack part 923.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
