PURPOSE: To improve the easiness of the handling of the lens cap of a video camera or the easiness of the mounting on a grip belt.

CONSTITUTION: This lens cap is composed of two pieces of a blind cylindrical case 10 having a pair of left and right openings 14 and 14, and a mounting tool 20 where a flexible ring 21 and a push button 22 projecting outwards and peeping through the openings are integrally formed. The case 10 is provided with a tongue piece 16 restraining the ring 21, and ribs 13 and 15 for regulation of push button guiding and ring location. The mounting tool 20 is provided with a hook piece 24 having a pressurizing part 25 via a flexible connecting rib 23 projecting inward of the ring. A support means 17 supporting the connecting rib 23 is provided on either one of the case 10 or the mounting tool 20.
