Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens control device and lens control method that can improve stoppage accuracy of driving in implementing drive control of a stepping motor.SOLUTION: A lens drive method of a lens drive device, which has a stepping motor moving a lens in an optical axis direction, obtains an amount of driving on the basis of a target position to be input, and instructs a rotation position of the stepping motor to drive, is configured to: read a first amount of driving upon driving to a current position (S21); in accordance with a second amount of driving from the current position to the target position, obtain a third amount of driving having the second amount of driving corrected (S29 to S35); and instruct the stepping motor on the rotation position based on the third amount of driving.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
