Title:
LENS COUPLING STRUCTURE OF RIMLESS SPECTACLES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003315740
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a lens coupling structure of rimless spectacles which are mounted with both lenses having no rims at tie-up sections disposed on both sides of couplings and can prevent chipping and cracking of the lenses without acting an undue stress on the mounted lenses.
The front end sides of the tie-up sections 7 are brought into contact with the surfaces of the lenses 8 and bands 9 are inserted into front end side holes 12, lens holes 14 and base side holes 13 of the tie-up sections 7 and are clamped. The clamped bands are designed not to slacken and the bands themselves are provided with slight elasticity so that the bands can be clamped to the lens holes without generating the undue concentrated stress in the lens holes.
