To miniaturize a lens device for an imaging unit using a flexible printed wiring board by eliminating an excessive space for storing the flexible printed wiring board.

The lens device for an imaging unit has, at a fixing body side, at least a movable part comprising a lens frame to hold a lens and a winding coil, a guide shaft to guide the movement of the lens frame along an optical axis direction, and a yoke part provided with a magnet which acts on the winding coil to transfer the lens frame. The flexible printed wiring board having a U-shaped or V-shaped is arranged between the movable part and the fixing body side as power supply electric wiring to the winding coil. The lens device is applicable to a small lens barrel while reducing the repulsive force of the flexible printed wiring board. Therefore, the space for the flexible printed wiring board becomes unnecessary in the small lens barrel, and the size of the small lens barrel is further miniaturized.
