Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device that uses a photographing plane phase difference sensor capable of an autofocus adjustment even when a defocus is large without affecting a picture signal upon the autofocus adjustment in photographing a video.SOLUTION: A lens device has: a focus lens group that moves for a focus adjustment; drive means that drives the focus lens group; a photographing plane phase difference sensor that receives subject light from the focus lens group to generate a picture signal and a phase difference signal, and is used for a focus detection; a first diaphragm that stops down, out of the subject light, both of a flux of light for photographing and a flux of light for the focus detection; a second diaphragm that stops down the flux of light for the focus detection out of the subject light; and control means that performs the focus detection on the basis of the phase difference signal or the picture signal obtained by the photographing plane phase difference sensor, and controls the drive means to drive the focus lens group to a focus position.
