To provide a lens driving device that secures a sufficient lens displacement.
The lens driving device 10 includes: a lens holder 18 comprising a cylindrical section 182 for holding a lens barrel; a housing 12 for supporting the lens holder 18 so as to move only in a direction of an optical axis O; a moving means for moving the lens holder 18 in the O direction; and a guiding means for guiding the lens holder 18 so as to move only in the O direction. The moving means includes one shape-memory alloy member 32 which extends substantially around the outer circumference of the lens holder 18, and is stretched between the lens holder 18 and the housing 12. The lens holder 18 includes N holder hook parts 184 that are disposed to project outwardly in a radial direction from the cylindrical section 182 at intervals of equal angles of (360°/N) (N is an integer of 2 or more) around the optical axis O, and latch the one shape-memory alloy member 32.
