Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the position holding properties of a lens, without deterioration of converging time of the lens to a target position.
CONSTITUTION: This lens driving device is provided with lens groups 1a-1d capable of being moved in an optical axial direction, position detecting means 7 and 8 detecting positions in the optical axial direction of the lens groups 1a-1d, a driving means driving the lens groups 1a-1d in the optical axial direction, a speed detecting means 20 detecting the moving speed of the lenses 1a-1d, and a calculating means 11 calculating a voltage applied to the driving means from the outputs of the detections of the position detecting means 7 and 8, and the speed detecting means 20, the counting of the calculation of the calculating means 11 is selectively changed according to the output values of the detection of the position detecting means 7 and 8 and the speed detecting means 20.
