A data module 27 for imprinting a calendar date onto a photo film 31 from the emulsion surface side is built in between a front cover 22 and an exposure unit 25. The data module 27 consists of a base plate provided with a transmission type liquid crystal display 45 behind a lighting window 6 formed in the front cover 22, and a power supply battery 47 attached to the back of the base plate within an extent of the external contours as viewed from the side of a taking lens 39. The front cover 22 is formed with a swollen part 15 which spatially encircle a taking window 5, the lighting window 6 and the data module 27, and the data module 27 is housed within the swollen part 15.
