The side print information 36 is recorded in such a manner that when the developed photographic film 12 is observed in the side of an emulsion face 33, the front and back sides of the photographed image can be accurately observed. As the front and back faces of the photographed image and the front and back of the side print information 36 are coincident to each other, the front or back face of the photographed image can be confirmed by checking the front or back sides of the side print information 36.
