The lens-fitted photographic film unit houses an exposed photographic film 26 in a cartridge 25 after use. In order to retrieve the cartridge 25, first and second thin parts 35, 36 are disposed in a back cover 15. The first thin part 35 is disposed along the boundary of a range 37 to be crushed from behind toward the interior. The second thin part 36 is disposed along a boundary for tearing a part 15a covering the back face and bottom face of a cartridge chamber 23 from the edge of the range to be crushed.
