Abstract:

To make it possible to make a rimbar have smaller diameter, to make glasses slim and light, and to make lens fixing work simple, by suspending a lens bottom edge with a band lower retaining part and fixing a lens to the rimbar.

A fitting groove 21 having a groove shape of an inferior arc- shaped section that a groove width is maximally opened on a groove mouth part is formed on the inner side surface of the arc-shaped rimbar 2. A band 3 is the bendable band made of nylon fiber insertable through respective sewing stuck holes of the remover 2. A band upper retaining part 31 from the sewing stuck middle part of the band 3 arriving at one side end part is loaded between the fitting groove 21 of the rimbar 2 and a groove part 11 of a lens 1 in a fitting state, and by reciprocally inserting the end part of the band lower retaining part 32 into the other sewing stuck hole of the rimbar 2 and sticking them in the state making the band lower retaining part 32 from the stuck middle part of this band 3 arriving at the other side band end part is put along the groove part 11 of the bottom edge of the band 1, the lens 1 is suspended below the rimbar 2 with the band 3.
