To make it possible to easily mount the lenses of rimless spectacles for which rims are not used without forming screw holes at the lenses and without the worry about the crack of the lenses by holding these lenses with front holding pieces and rear holding pieces.
The lenses 1 are connected by connecting members and eyepieces 3 are mounted at the outer side of the lenses 1. Both sides of the connecting members and endpiece ends are provided with the holding pieces 7. The holding pieces 7 consist of the front holding pieces 7a and the rear holding pieces 7b which make a pair and the lenses 1 are held by both holding pieces 7a, 7b. Contacts 8 against which the outer peripheries of the lenses 1 abut are formed nearly perpendicularly at the inside of the front holding pieces 7a and screws 9 are fixed to these contacts 8. The rear holding pieces 7b are mounted at the screws 9 and the lenses 1 are held by these holding pieces and the front holding pieces 7a and are tightened and are fixed by means of nuts 10 and the screws 9. In such a case, rubber pieces 11, 11 are interposed between both holding pieces 7a, 7b and the lens faces to prevent the direct contact of the holding pieces 7a, 7b with the lenses.
