To rotate a filter in a state where a lens hood is attached by setting a mechanism integrally rotating a filter with the lens hood.
The inside diameter of a middle frame 2 incorporated in a lens hood main body 1 is made 2-3mm smaller than the size of the filter 4. This is because the recessed part 5 of the filter 4 is meshed with the projected part 3 of the frame 2 without spoiling the effective diameter of the filter 4, and it is enough to make one side smaller by 1-2mm in terms of practical use. The recessed part 5 formed on the filter 4 complies with the projection 3 of the frame 2 in the case of setting its depth to about 2mm and its width to about 3mm considering the thickness of the filter frame 4. The frame 2 does not require thickness and can be made light in weight when it is all formed of synthetic resin material of the same quality as the lens hood. Thus, the projection 3 formed on the lens hood is meshed with the recessed part 5 of the filter 4 simultaneously with the attachment of the lens hood, so that the filter 4 is rotated by rotating the lens hood 1.
