Abstract:

To provide a lens machining system, which improves the efficiency of machining and saves on the space of the system.

The lens machining system is provided with a stock unit having: a first stage, which has a plurality of lens storage trays arranged so as to form a line in the vertical direction and moves the lens storage trays in order to a required position in the vertical direction; a second stage, which receives the lens storage trays at a receiving position in the vertical direction and arranges them so as to form a line in the vertical direction; and a transportation means, which moves the lens storage trays from the first stage to the second stage. Further, the lens machining system is provided with: a carrying unit for returning the machined lens to the tray in which the lens was stored before machining; a plurality of machining units arranged side by side in the horizontal direction; a plurality of the stock units arranged side by side in the horizontal direction in front of the machining units; and the carrying route of the carrying unit being arranged in front of the machining units in parallel with them.
