Abstract:
To provide a lens processing method for making a center thickness of a processed lens accurate.SOLUTION: A lens processing method is the lens processing method for abutting a tool on a lens as a processing object and grinding or polishing the lens. The lens processing method includes: an abutting step of abutting the tool, the lens, or a sticking pan to which sticks the lens, on an elastic body; a measurement step of always measuring a position of a compression shaft compressing at least one of the tool and the lens toward an abutting surface between the tool and the lens, and at least one of positions of the tool, the lens, or the sticking pan, during processing; a calculation step of instantly calculating a center thickness of the lens during the processing on the basis of a measurement result in the measurement step; and a control step of finishing the processing when a center thickness calculated in the calculation step and a center thickness as a target are matched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
