Abstract:

To provide a lens securing mechanism for practicable rimless spectacles which is extremely stable in the state of lens holding and may be simplified in its structure.

The following technical means are adopted: The lenses 1 are respectively pierced the control securing holes 11 in positions near a bridge 2 and outer securing holes 12 in the positions near endpieces 3; spit pins 21 are adjustably secured and fixed near to both right and left ends of the bridge 2; on the other hand, the spit pins 21 exist on the eyepiece side of the lenses 1 and prick the central securing holes 11 such that the lenses 1 are tightly grasped by the bridge 2 and the spit pins 21; outer spit pins 31 are adjustably secured and fixed to the lens side ends of the endpieces 3 and on the other hand, the outer spit pins 31 prick the outer securing holes 12 of the lenses such that the lenses 1 are tightly grasped by the endpieces 3 and the outer spit pins 31, by which right and left lenses 1 and 1 are connected and held.
