To provide a transmission type screen which is diagonally arranged with pixels and can display the video from a light source projecting video light high fineness, while vibrating and is satisfactory in productivity.
The transmission-type screen 10 is equipped with a lens sheet 20 which diffuses the light incident from a back side and emits the light to an observation side. The lens sheet 20 has a plurality of lens elements 22, formed on an incident side side 20a and external light absorption sections 24, which are disposed in the portions not transmitting the light condensed by the lens elements 22 of the exit side surface 20b, are so formed as to protrude to the observation side and are colored on the surface so as to absorb the external light. The arrangement pitch P of the lens elements 22 is 0.30 mm or larger and 0.57 mm or smaller.
