To provide a lens system comprising a relatively compact prism and having a relatively large image area, and copying machine accompanied by this system.
A copying machine has a lens system 1 formed of a first lens means 2, a second lens means 3, and prism means 4, 5 situated between the first lens means 2 and the second lens means 3. The first lens means 2 has a negative refractive index, and the second lens means 3 has a positive refractive index.
