A 1st lens (9) has a 1st surface (11) facing an object and a 2nd surface (12) facing a 2nd lens (10). In the 1st surface (13) of the 2nd lens (10), a 1st area substantially corresponding to the maximum two thirds of the diameter of the 1st surface (13) of the 2nd lens (10) is formed in a recessed shape. In the 2nd surface (14) of the 2nd lens (10), a 2nd area substantially corresponding to the maximum two thirds of the diameter of the 2nd surface (14) of the 2nd lens (10) is formed in a planar shape. In the camera module, the 2nd surface (14) of the 2nd lens (10) faces image detecting units (16 and 17).
