Abstract:

To provide a lens working jig for eliminating setting work for a hole position needed in a conventional boring process for a lens, and for stably and surely holding the lens at the time of boring work, allowing simple, quick, and correct boring a hole for an unskilled worker.

This jig is equipped with a lens holding plate 2 for holding a lens L, and a base mount 6 having a base seat 3 for supporting the plate 2, a side wall 4, and a guide part 5 for setting a passing position to the seat 3 of a boring tool. The relative position between the plate 2 and the seat 3 is set so as to conform the track of the boring tool to the boring position of the lens L, by abutting the side surface part 2d of the plate 2 on the reference surface 4a of the wall 4 as a positioning means.
