To make it possible to observe bright stereoscopic images, such as stereoscopic video, changing images and animation, approximate to naturally observed images free of crosstalks by combining composite images and a lenticular sheet.
A lenticular display is formed by combining the linear pixel units separated to the left eye images and right eye images of the sampling images outputted according to the characteristics of a printing output machine with the composite images arrayed on the same plane at a most suitable interval and the lenticular sheet. In the case of the two images as the lenticular display, three dots are arrayed in the pitch unit of the cylindrical lenses 3 of the lenticular sheet 1. The pixels consisting of the repetition of the arrays of the left eye pixels 4, blank pixels 6 and the right eye pixels 5 are formed. How many pixels are arrayed in the pitch unit are properly determined by the performance of the printing output machine, the observation distance of the display and the shape of the lenticular lenses.
