Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A leikotriene derivative shown by the formulaI(R is H or lower alkyl; a group shown by the formula II has double bond or triple bond) or a nontoxic salt where R is H.
EXAMPLE: 7E, 9E 14Z-Triene-11-ynester.
USE: An antiallergic extremely effective against various kinds of allergosis such as asthama, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, etc. because it inhibits the biosynthesis of SRS having a bronchoconstriction action.
PROCESS: A compound shown by the formula III is reacted with a compound shown by the formula IV (R' is lower alkyl), and, if necessary, the reaction product is reduced or hydrolyzed, to give a compound shown by the formulaIor its nontoxic salt.
