Title:
LEVEL DECIDING CIRCUIT FOR HDTV SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3116677
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correctly decide the level of the three-pole synchronizing signal of the HDTV signal which is inputted.
CONSTITUTION: The HDTV signal (a) which is inputted is binarized by a binarization part 2 and then sent out to a vertical synchronizing signal detection part 3, which outputs a video detection signal (c) for detecting a video signal. A vertical synchronizing signal removal part 4 outputs only the binarized signal as an output signal (d) and a rise detection part 8 and a fall detection part 9 detect the rise and fall of the output signal (d) respectively. A rise level detection part 10 detects the high level of the three-pole synchronizing signal as the vertical synchronizing signal that the output signal (d) contains and a base level detection part 11 detects the base level of the three-pole synchronizing signal; and a subtraction part 12 calculates the difference between the high level and base level to decide the level of the inputted HDTV signal (a).
