Abstract:

To provide a leveling agent with improved both leveling property and wetting property to a base material and capable of forming a wholly smooth surface film.

The leveling agent for a coating composition composed of a polysiloxane main chain and a block copolymer containing at least one block of a polymerized unsaturated monomer, wherein the block copolymer is prepared by controlled free radical addition polymerization reaction of at least one polysiloxane containing prepolymer containing at least one chain transferable group and an ethylenic unsaturated monomer.
