To provide a lever operation type connector in which assembly of a lever can be simply carried out without deteriorating workability and causing no breakage and bending.
The lever operation type connector is provided with the housing body 2, a hood 3, and a lever 4 which moves the housing body 2 and the hood 3 toward a mating connector side by rotating at the time of engagement with the mating connector. The connector has, furthermore, lever boss portions 11 which connect the outer periphery of the housing body 2 and the inner periphery of the hood 3, supports the outer periphery of the housing body 2 and the inner periphery of the hood 3 at a prescribed spacing, and support the lever 4 rotatably, and the lever 4 has boss installation holes 19 in which the lever boss portions 11 are inserted and boss through-holes 21 which communicate the boss installation holes with the outside of the lever 4 and through which the lever boss portions 11 are inserted, when the lever 4 is assembled between the outer periphery of the housing body 2 and the inner periphery of the hood 3.
