Abstract:
To provide a method and system for installing license software in the computer of an end user.
A network computer 31 is provided with a data base 50a for listing plural different software to be licensed for an end user and computer ID licensed to execute the software. An end user computer 41 transmits a command for executing a program for identifying the software listed as the licensed one with the computer ID of the end user computer for the end user computer to the network computer 31. The network computer 31 downloads the selected software, and installs it in an end user computer program storage device 55.
